Canada invites 183 PNP candidates

Express Entry candidates who received a provincial nomination are now one step closer to Canadian permanent residence.

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province, PNP is the best program for them. Each PNP has at least one immigration stream that is aligned with the federal Express Entry immigration selection system.

Express Entry candidates who got a provincial nomination are currently one bit nearer to Canadian Permanent Residence. On March 17, 2021, Canada welcomed 183 Express Entry candidates to apply for Permanent Residence.

, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) welcomed candidates with a score of at least 682. This Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score necessity may appear to be high, however, because everyone invited had previously received a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Since Express Entry candidates who receive provincial nominations are themselves given 600 points. In other words, ones with a minimum score of 682, would get a CRS score of 82 without the provincial nomination. Even those names were included only if they had submitted their Express Entry profile before March 4, 2021, at 16:56:20 UTC, as per the tie-break rule. IRCC distributes the cut-off as an ideal opportunity for the tie-defy norm as an administrative requirement, whether or not there was a real tie.
